Fifty Four years ago today, Anthony Wayne Holland was born. We lost him in June 2009. His earthly remains were found 21 months later on March 29, 2011. Today in honor of him, numerous family and friends released balloons with a message on them. They were released from Tulsa at a Wendy's. For those of you that knew Anthony, you know he loved Wendy's. One of his favorite restaurants even if it was fast food.
We all feel positive that Anthony knows how much he is missed. There is still not a day that goes by that he is not thought of. There is not a day that goes by that one or all of us feels his absense. No matter what is going on, how busy we are, Anthony is in our thoughts and hearts. He was an amazing man and touched so many hearts.
Happy birthday, Anthony. We miss you and you are in our hearts.
One balloon was found in Ketchum Oklahoma on 12/13. It had traveled around 60 to 70 miles in 15 hours or so.
ReplyDeleteAnother balloon was found in Avoka Arkansas on 12/26. It had traveled over 120 miles in 2 weeks.
We feel so blessed that both of these families let us know that they found the balloons. It is so awesome.
I read about Anthony's disappearance because I tend to follow the cases of missing people and have seen the personal devastation of family members when they can not find a loved one, first hand. I pray for your family's peace, healing and closure. Would you mind me asking if it ever determined how he passed away? Was he found in a location that searchers had previously looked?
