Balloon Release - In Remembrance

Fifty Four years ago today, Anthony Wayne Holland was born. We lost him in June 2009. His earthly remains were found 21 months later on March 29, 2011. Today in honor of him, numerous family and friends released balloons with a message on them. They were released from Tulsa at a Wendy's. For those of you that knew Anthony, you know he loved Wendy's. One of his favorite restaurants even if it was fast food.

We all feel positive that Anthony knows how much he is missed. There is still not a day that goes by that he is not thought of. There is not a day that goes by that one or all of us feels his absense. No matter what is going on, how busy we are, Anthony is in our thoughts and hearts. He was an amazing man and touched so many hearts.

Happy birthday, Anthony. We miss you and you are in our hearts.

Rest In Peace

This post is written with great sadness and a heavy heart. On Tuesday, March 29, 2011, Anthony's earthly remains were found on one of his farms by a search team from the OSBI office in Lawton. I hope that Anthony knows of the search efforts that the family and friends have conducted over the last 21 months. He has been missed by all of us. We so hoped to find him alive but we feared the worse and those fears were realized this week. Upon word of his passing, we have had an outpouring of kind words and sentiments from so many of his friends. Please know that this means so much to all of us. He was truly blessed with so many that loved him. Anthony was a kind and compassionate man. Friends have expressed how he tried to take care of everyone around him. He gave to many and expected very little in return. He was a truly generous man and enjoyed making others happy. We thank each of you for your well wishes, your kind words, and prayers. This has been a difficult week for us and just knowing all of you are there to support us just as you supported Anthony does help. Rest in peace Anthony.

$20,000 Reward

We have passed the mark of 21 months missing and with that the parents and siblings of Anthony Wayne Holland have increased the reward to $20,000. We hope this will bring in tips and information that might lead to his return or recovery or information that could lead to an arrest and conviction of those that harmed Anthony.
There isn't a second of any day that one of us isn't thinking about Anthony and missing him. That will never end. Every day is a roller coaster. Anthony was a kind and compassionate man (who could talk and talk) and is missed by many.
We appreciate everyone that are keeping Anthony and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Keep praying, there will be answers.

Melissa and Anthony

This month marks the 4th year since Melissa Flores disappeared. She was last seen on Jan 27, 2007. The OSBI has labeled her case a homicide yet no one is paying for the crime they committed against Melissa. Her family continues to ride the emotional roller coaster this puts you on. Melissa deserves justice and so does her family.

Anthony has been missing for over 1.5 years now from the same small town as Melissa - Cordell, Oklahoma. His home where he was last seen still has NOT been searched. Why would his home not be searched? It makes no sense.

Something has to be done. Laws need to be changed. If you can successfully hide a body you can get away with murder. Please write to your senator, write to your state representative, write to the General Attorney's office. Something has to be done. Don't let this happen to your family. Cordell is a very small town and two people have just disappeared. Something is wrong with that picture.

You can email findanthonyholland@yahoo.com with any information you might have on either Anthony or Melissa or just to ask questions.

Thanks again for all the support, the prayers, and the help so many of you have provided. We appreciate all of you.

Happy Birthday Anthony

Dear Anthony,

Today is your 53rd birthday. It is your 2nd birthday since you disappeared. We continue to look for you and do all we can to find you or at least gain closure. Everyday is filled with hope, sorrow, frustrations, and faith.

Everyone we talk to liked you so much. They all comment about your ability to do anything you set your mind to. They all talk about what all you had - a great family, several great businesses and lots of land to enjoy your hobbies of fishing, hunting and just being in the outdoors. You have so many wonderful friends, friends that care about you and just like your family, they all hope to get answers.

Soon it will be Christmas. The one thing I always think about when opening presents is you and your pocket knife, the knife you left at home when you disappeared along with everything else. Every time we were all together opening gifts, if tape or a ribbon needed to be cut you jumped up with the pocket knife in hand. All of us will be missing you more than ever this Christmas.

I hope where ever you are you know how much you are missed and loved. I hope you know that we will not quit looking for you. We hope and pray to find you alive and well but if not that we long for closure and justice.

Holidays Times - Once again without Anthony

Anthony has been missing for 16 months, almost 17. It is unbelievable. We continue to hope to find him well and alive but it isn't likely. There is no way that Anthony would leave his family and not communicate or anything. He was way to compassionate for that ... and he loved to talk. He would have to call and see how his family and friends are doing. So all of that said we fear the worse - foul play. Someone has hurt Anthony and disposed of his body.

Thanksgiving is nearing. After that is Anthony's birthday, his 2nd since he has been missing. Then Christmas. These are typically happy occasions that our family enjoys spending time together. And yes, we will still spend time together and will enjoy the time but there will be a huge hole in our holidays.

We thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes. We have met so many people that also have missing loved ones. We value those relationships and pray for their situations. Until you find yourself in this situation it is hard to imagine. I find it hard to imagine waiting for answers for 5 or 10 years or longer.

Please continue to pray that we and all families get closure that is so needed and deserved. Please pray that the OSBI and private investigators continue to gain information that can help bring closure and justice.

Happy holidays to all.

Pay It Forward

The family of Anthony Holland is trying to Pay It Forward. We found a story about a young man out of Texas that is a firefighter. He is trying to win a contest through Dave Ramsey. We feel so obligated to a group of firemen out of Hobart that has done several dives looking for Anthony. So thus the "Pay it Forward". In recognition for the help they have provided our family we are trying to support this young man. Please vote using link below:
